This is the first book in the Anne series.
A young orphan is taken in by an elderly brother and sister, who are determined to bring her up right, despite not having sent for a girl to begin with. Anne has a vivid and expansive imagination that often leads her into trouble. This book follows Anne’s tale from the time she arrives at Green Gables until she starts teaching school herself.

Me
I am a 33 year old mom to 3, I love to read, knit, and write. I started writing here to keep track of what books I’ve read, along with a brief synopsis of each. In the beginning I had to force myself to finish posting my synopsis before I was allowed to start a new book. Now, several years in, it’s almost second nature.
