This is the seventeenth book in the Anita Blake series.

I listened to this by audio book, read by Kimberly Alexis.

Anita is called to Las Vegas to, once again, hunt Vittorio, a serial killing vampire who escaped when he was in St. Louis. Along the way she encounters Marmee Noir and figures out just exactly what the Mother of all Vampires wants from her.. Can Anita survive an encounter with both of them?

Blood Noir ~ Laurell Hamilton

I listened to this one on Audio book. Narrated by Cynthia Holloway.

Good reading of this story, I enjoyed it, was very entertaining.

Anita gets volunteered by Nathanial to accompany Jason to his hometown, to see his estranged, and dying father. Once there, they discover that Jason’s resemblance to the twin sons of the local Governor, who are in town for one’s wedding. But will that resemblance get them killed?

This is the Thirteenth book in the Anita Blake series.

When Larry’s wife Tammy goes into preterm labor, Anita takes on a job for Larry, an animating job for a federal court case, requiring that the animator be a Federal Marshal. Because of the Ardour, Anita cannot go alone, so Micah goes with her. Once on location, Anita finds that the FBI Agent in charge, is the same agent who was on the case when Micah was attacked and became a wereleopard. Anita learns the story of how Micah was infected, which she had never asked about because it was an attack. When Anita attempts to raise the zombie for court, difficulties occur, both in her powers and in the court case.

This is the Twelfth book in the Anita Blake series.

Anita is called away from Larry and Tammy’s wedding reception to look at a body, it turns out to be a vampire serial killer, and Anita is on the case. At the same time she is trying to deal with her own emotional hang ups about Nathanial, and the rest of her men, while trying to rebuild her relationship with Ronnie too.  Once Anita determines that there is a rogue master, powerful enough that neither Malcolm  or Jean-Claude has sensed him, in town, she knows they are in for more trouble, but can she survive the battle?

Anita heads to New Mexico, and helps Edward, aka Ted Forrester, investigate a series of homicides and mutilations. No one is sure what kind of creature is behind the crimes, but Anita is sure it is something preternatural, if only she can get the local cops, and the FBI to believe her.  Can Anita and Edward manage to kill this monster before it kills them?

This is the eighth book in the Anita Blake series.

When Richard is arrested in Tennassee for attempted rape, Anita goes down to figure out what is going on. The local Master is afraid that Jean-Claude is after his territory, and almost kills one of the Wereleopards as a warning. Once Anita finds out why Richard was arrested, can she keep everyone, humans, vampires and weres, alive and whole?
