Texas! Lucky ~ Sandra Brown

This is the first book in the Texas! trilogy by Sandra Brown. Lucky Tyler is a suspect in an arson case, only he didn’t do it, and he can’t find the woman he was with to prove it! When he finally finds her, she refuses to admit that she was with him for reasons of her own.
I enjoy this trilogy, but hadn’t read it in about 15 years.

Texas! Chase ~ Sandra Brown

This is the second book in Sandra Brown’s Texas! trilogy, I picked them up in the wrong order. Chase Tyler, is a haunted man, he is haunted by the death of his young wife in a car accident. Marcie is an old friend of Chase’s from school, and unfortunately, the person who was driving the car Chase’s wife was killed in, though, she was not at fault. Two years after his wife’s death, Chase is living a reckless life of rodeo and alcohol, when he gets stepped on my ab bull, and just by chance, Marcie is there to witness it. Marcie sees him home safely, and says a few things to him to make him see how much his hurting has hurt those most dear to him, his family.
