Lay Line Drifter ~ Kim Harrison

This is a short story in the Rachel Morgan series, it is found in the Unbound Anthology.

While Jenks and his family are preparing to move back into the garden in the spring, another pixie appears at his garden wall. The pixie is looking for help, he wants to hire Jenks, to figure out and fix whatever is killing his children. Jenks is excited, a job of his very own. If only he can figure out what the problem is and fix it before another young pixie is killed.

This is a young adult novel about a 17 year old girl who was killed on prom night, but some how has managed to survive, she stole the amulet from the reaper who came to kill her, and now he is after her to get it back, and get rid of her permanently. Can she manage to figure out what is going on in time to make the right choices, or is she fated to cease to exist in the end?

White Witch, Black Curse ~ Kim Harrison

This is the seventh book in the Rachel Morgan series.

Rachel is determined to find out who killed Kisten, she is trying very hard to recover her memory of that night. Then Glenn is injured, he ends up in the hospital, and comatose for several days. Rachel, Ivy and Jenks start working on the investigation for the FIB as to who and what hurt Glenn. They discover that they are hunting for an Banshee, and after Rachel is attacked, they reconsider the wisdome of this particular case.

This is the sixth book in the Hallows series. Rachel Morgan is coming
to terms with the death of her boyfriend, Kisten, three months earlier,
though still feeling guilty, because he died saving her. When, out of the blue, an old acquaintance shows up in her life. Also, at the same time, the Demon who is determined to kill her, manages to get out of his imprisonment, and come after her. Rachel is trying to determine what she needs to do in life, while still staying alive, and figuring out who is summoning the Demon Al, and letting him loose to kill her.

For a Few Demons More ~Kim Harrison

this is the fifth book in the Rachel Morgan series. There has been a series of death among Werewolves and Rachel has been called in to investigate by the FIB, as their Interlander expert. Most look like suicides… but there are some that just look fishy, and Rachel soon determines that they are murders. In the attempt to solve these crimes, Rachel encounters 2 more demons, and is forced to deal with them.
At the same time, Rachel has been convinced to work security for Trent Kalamack’s wedding, as much as she doesn’t want to. All while trying to wait out Ivy’s fear of finding a blood balance with Rachel.

A Fistful of Charms ~ Kim Harrison

this is the fourth book in the Rachel Morgan series. Rachel is challenged for her position as Alpha of a werewolf pack, and somehow manages to win. Rachel is still trying to figure out how to get Jenks back into the garden after she insulted him last winter, when his wife, Matalina comes to beg Rachel to help Jenks find their son, Jax, who has disappeared with Rachel’s ex-boyfriend. Rachel ends up traveling north to find Jax and Nick, and keep herself out of even more trouble.

this is the third book in the Rachel Morgan series. The time has come for Rachel to fulfill her agreement with the demon who testified against the dead vampire Piscary. Rachel must now become his familiar, but can she manage to keep her soul while doing so? At the same time, something is going on with Nick, he seems to be pulling away from Rachel. Also, Rachel is hired by Trent’s head of security to keep him safe in an upcoming meeting. Can Rachel manage to do all she has agreed to do, and keep her soul as well as managing to stay on this side of the ever-after?

This is the second book in the Rachel Morgan series. Rachel has been contacted by the FIB to help them solve a series of murders, where all the victims were witches. Rachel has been enrolled in a class taught by the same teacher who had taught all the victims at one point or another. Because the FIB suspects the teacher is the murderer, Rachel has her own suspecions as to who the killer is, and is determined to prove it. The question is if she will survive the discoveries she is about to make.

She was a runner for a division of the Interlander law enforcement, when she decided to quit. now there is a contract out on her life, until she can raise enough money to pay off her debt from her contract with the government. Can she survive long enough to manage that?
