Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ~ J. K. Rowling

This is book seven in the Harry Potter series.

Harry has completed six years at Hogwarts, but has decided that he won’t be returning for his final year, instead, he is planning to take the time to hunt down all of the Horcruxes that Voldemort has created and eliminate them, until they are all gone and Voldemort can be killed for good. His best friends Ron and Hermione join him for the quest but is it all they had hoped?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ~ J. K. Rowling

This the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series.

As Harry reaches 17, and becomes an adult wizard according to wizarding laws, he is faced with the decision he has made. Not to return to Hogwarts, but instead to go in search of the Horcruxes and destroy them in order to destroy Voldemort. Harry is faced with trials and puzzles, as well as many hard truths about the people surrounding him.  Can Harry learn that he needs to trust some, but carefully, in order to get this task accomplished? Can it be accomplished? Can Harry survive a battle with Voldemort?

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the sixth book in the Harry Potter series.

As Harry returns to school for his sixth year, he is rapidly aproaching adulthood (17 in the wizard world) and Dumbledore is having private classes with him this year, on top of all the other courses he has. Harry is dealing with the death of his godfather, Sirius, and trying to figure out where he is going with is life. Harry is learning more about the prophacy involving himself and Voldemort, and what it is going to take to defeat Voldemort.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the fifth book in the Harry Potter series.

Harry has witnessed the return of Lord Voldemort, but the Ministry of Magic is denying it, and spreading lies and rumers that Harry, and Dumbledore, are losing it.  The Ministry of Magic begins interfering with the workings of Hogwarts, and trying to silence all rumors of the Dark Lord’s return. But how far will they go?  At the same time, Dumbledore has reunited the remaining members of the Order of the Phoenix, the group of wizards banding together to fight the Dark Lord, and recruting new members in their battle.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the fourth book in the Harry Potter Series.

Harry and his friends go back to Hogwarts for their fourth year, only to discover that the Ministry of Magic has revived the Triwizards Tournament, open only to students age 17 years or older, so they look forward to watching the events of the Tournament unfold, until Harry’s name comes out of the Goblet. Harry has no clue how his name got put into the goblet, but must work hard, not in order to win, but just in order to survive!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the third book in the Harry Potter series.

Harry returns to school for his third year, and it seems as though everyone is out to protect him. Serious Black has escaped from Azkaban prison, where he was sentanced after being convicted of murdering 13 people in the service of Lord Voldemort, and word is, before his escape, he kept muttering “He’s at Hogwarts” is he really out to kill Harry?

At the same time, Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermoine, are trying to get through all the classes and assignments involved in thier third year.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the second book in the Harry Potter series.

Harry is to return to Hogwarts this year for his second year, but none of his friends have contacted him all summer and he has been miserable. After a strange visit from an even stranger creature, Harry is locked in his bedroom, and wonders if he will ever make it to school.

Harry does make it to school only to encounter the problems of the Chamber of Secrets of having been opened, students petrified, and the entire school is terrified, and unsure who is responsible.  Can they all manage to survive the school year?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the first book in the Harry Potter series.

The beginning of Harry’s tale we are introduced to most of the main charicters, Harry, and his two best friends, Ron and Hermione. Harry’s only remaining family, and the staff at Hogwarts.

Harry discovers that he is more than just an unwelcome member of a muggle family, he is a wizard! As he spends his first year at Hogwarts, Harry finds a home he has never known, and friends who are closer than family. He also seems to find trouble, whether he is looking or not. How will Harry manage to survive the year?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the first book in the Harry Potter Series. Harry has been raised by his Aunt and Uncle, believing that his parents were killed in a car accident when he was a baby. On the day of his eleventh birthday he discovers that his parents were wizards, and he is slated to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Through the book you follow the adventures and misadventures of Harry and his new friends through their first year at Hogwarts, and his first encounter with Voldemort, the evil wizard who killed his parents.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. Harry has determined that he is not going to return to Hogwarts for his finial year, instead, he is going to embark on a journey to discover and destroy all of the horcruxes that Lord Voldemort has left. Ron and Hermione have decided he will not be going alone, and they will be joining him. While Harry, Ron and Hermione are searching for the horcruxes to destroy them, Lord Voldemort has taken over much of the wizarding world, he now runs the Ministry of Magic, and he has put Severus Snape in the position of Headmaster at Hogwarts. We all know that between Harry and Voldemort, neither can live while the other survives, so the real question is who else will die in the execution of this destiny.
