One where the killings are a game… but can she figure out who is responsible in time to save lives?

This is a short story in the Eve Dallas series, found in the The Lost anthology.

Can Eve discover what is really going on here? And will her sense of duty come between her and Rourke?

This is the latest release in the Eve Dallas series.
Eve is called in to investigate a murder that has happened where the victim is locked alone in a secure room, in a secure apartment. The problem is figuring out how someone managed to get in and kill him and get out.. or did they?
Kindred in Death ~ J. D. Robb
This is the newest book in the Eve Dallas series.
Eve is called in on a holiday to work the brutal murder of a fellow officer’s daughter. Eve and her team, including Rourke do everything they can to catch this killer, even though it appears they have no leads to begin with. Can Eve catch the killer and figure out why this girl was targeted?
Promises in Death ~ J. D. Robb
This is the thirty fourth book in the Eve Dallas series.
Eve is working another murder, this time a cop, and a cop that they all knew, and one dating another cop. Eve is determined to take down the killers. She also has to contend with the bridal shower for Louise, in her home. And how much does your blood effect who you are?
Ritual in Death ~ J. D. Robb
this is a short story found in the book Suite 606, and part of the Eve Dallas series.
Eve and Rourke are attending a party in one of Rourke’s hotels when a man runs in, naked, bloody and carrying a knife. Eve quickly handles the situation and soon follows the bloody trail the man has left in the hall to another suite, Suite 606, where she finds a body. Eve in her usual efficient way, drives her self to solve this murder, but since it happened in one of Rourke’s buildings, he has an interest too.
Salvation in Death ~ J. D. Robb
This is the latest book in the Eve Dallas series, I admit, I have lost count.
Eve is called to the murder of a priest, who was poisoned during a funeral mass, only, it seems, he is not who he has claimed to be for the last five years, and not really a priest. Can Eve, along with Peabody and Rourke, figure out who the he really was, and why he was murdered? Add to the case that a couple of days after the first murder, another preacher is killed by the same method, poison, in front of the crowd he was preaching for. Can Eve tie the two together, are they even related?
Strangers in Death ~ J. D. Robb
Another book in the Eve Dallas series (honestly, I have lost count, but it is the most recent, at this time.) Eve has caught another murder, this time a wealthy sporting goods tycoon, who just happens to have offices in the same building as Rourke. Eve figures out fairly quickly who is responsible for the murder, now she just has to prove it! All the old cast are back, including Charles, who we don’t see all that often. I really enjoyed this one.
Creation in Death ~ J. D. Robb
The thirtieth story in the Eve Dallas series. Eve is called out on a murder that appears to be the resurfacing of a murderer who got away from them 9 years earlier. As they proceed to investigate it dawns on them that the profile of victim on this case is a perfect match for Eve, and it appears that Eve may be on the list that this killer has planned.
Eternity in Death ~ J. D. Robb
This is the twenty ninth story in the Eve Dallas series. Eve is assigned to a murder which resembles a vampire killing, in the style of ‘old’ vampire films, and Eve is not so sure that is the case.
