As they graduate high school and prepare to start their lives long time friends Clay, Mason and April admit to themselves and each other that their caring goes past friendship and they spend their last summer together as lovers, then April goes to New York for school, Mason joins the Army and Clay goes on the rodeo circuit, where they kinda loose touch. Until Clay is severely injured in a Rodeo accident, and they all come rushing to his side.
